Elm cookie (From great-grandfather’s farm)

This elm tree grew on a farm in Medina Ontario that had been in my family since 1954. First owned by my great-grandparents then by my uncle and aunt before recently being sold out of the family. The base of the tree was hollow and was approaching the end of it’s life. We harvested it and will be making it available as it’s milled and dried
