ABOUT US
In 2016 and after working on a farm with a sawmill, Daniel wanted to create a business that could turn those difficult-to-process trees into slabs, so that no wood would go to waste.
This endeavour to maximize the useful life of a tree materialized into Big Ass Slabs. Currently a 3-person operation (plus the frequent help from Daniel's dad), the company is a tight-knit team that expertly manages a tree from the pick-up after felling (tree cutting) to slab production and the building of timber frame structures.
